Abstract:

Contains two modern heraldic documents, a family tree and a coat of arms, prepared by the Knights of Malta, Western Association, on behalf of Antonio R. Sanchez-Corea, a descendant of Pedro Sanchez de Perales of Spain. The family tree (39 x 24.5 cm) documents the lineage of male descendants from Pedro Sanchez to Antonio Sanchez-Correa. Their names and dates are displayed in banners against a background of a tree with the Sanchez family noble arms at the top along with the coat of arms of the King of Spain, signed by five officials of the Knights of Malta, Western Association. The coat of arms illustration (29 x 23 cm) depicts a knight's helmet surrounded by green and white flourishes above a tree with two dogs chained to it. The surrounding text reads, "The Noble Arms of the Ancient Family of Sanchez as borne by Antonio René Louis Phillipe Sanchez-Corea II."
